One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is the acclaimed 1975 drama sensation that is widely considered to be one of the best motion pictures ever made, from celebrated director Milos Forman (Man on the Moon, Amadeus), produced by Michael Douglas and adapted from the classic novel by Ken Kesey. Gregarious inmate Randall Patrick McMurphy (Jack Nicholson, Batman, As Good As It Gets, Chinatown) is placed in a mental institution after a stay at a prison farm for psychiatric evaluation. The man is merely faking to get out of work detail, and finds life among the loonies a welcome retreat ' at first. But soon, he is butting heads with the ward's iron willed Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher, Invaders From Mars, High School High) as he tries to instigate moral mutinies among the inmates, who have been rendered submissive by the cool matron. Who will emerge the victor in this bitingly funny and moving battle of wills?
