One Hour Photo is a 2002 thriller about a deranged photo booth attendant who terrorizes an innocent family. By outward appearances, Seymour Parrish (Robin Williams) is an excellent employee. He is friendly to the customers who visit his photo-developing booth at a department store and always gives them superb photos. Inside, however, he seethes with rage and jealously, particularly against the Yorkin family, whom he believes lead a perfect life. His obsession increases to the point where he begins accumulating photos that they drop off and building a massive collage about them in his home. One day, he speaks with Nina Yorkin (Connie Nielsen), who quickly comes to pity his lonely life. Seymour is pushed over the edge days later, when his boss Bill, (Gary Cole), learns he has been stealing photos and fires him. Before leaving, however, Seymour discovers photos which prove that Will Yorkin (Michael Vartan) is cheating on Nina. His illusions regarding happiness of the Yorkins crushed, Seymour sets out to destroy the family he once idolized.moreless
