One Little Indian is a 1973 family Western produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Bernard McEveety. Clint Keyes (James Garner) is trying to run from the law after a string of very bad decisions, including desertion from the Cavalry. However, the fact that he has to ride a camel named Rosie only makes it harder for Keyes to blend in or move very fast. When he encounters a young orphan, Mark (Clay O'Brien), even the fugitive is not hard-hearted enough to let Mark continue to live on his own. Together, Rosie, Keyes and Mark head across the desert, just hoping to avoid the authorities and find successful new lives. Keyes knows he has to toughen up if he wants to escape the noose. When he runs into a widow named Doris (Vera Miles) and her young daughter Martha (Jodie Foster), Keyes struggles with the question of whether to trust the two or not.
