One Man's Law is a Western movie set in Mason City, Iowa. It focuses on Jack Summers (Don "Red" Barry) as he takes over for the local sheriff in order to help his town beat out a nearby town in a cut throat settlement for a railroad contract. The town had raised money for a new railroad and entrusted the money to Jack. He took the responsibility of the railroad to heart and was thrilled that the townspeople learned to trust him so quickly. The rival town, trying to also get the railroad contract, tests Jack Summers's patience many times by performing devious deeds in his very own town and Jack has to take command as a sheriff quickly. The competing town even goes as far as committing multiple robberies to make sure they will get the railroad contract and not Jack's town. But thankfully for his own community Jack refuses to back down and stands up to the rival town over and over again. He takes his new position to heart and does everything in his power to secure his town's place in the race to end the settlement for the railroad contract.moreless
