Open House is a 2010 crime thriller directed by Andrew Paquin. In this film, Alice (Rachel Blanchard) is a recent divorcee who has to sell her house as part of the divorce agreement. In order to acheive this, she enlists the help of her real estate agent friend, Carl (Gabriel Olds). Carl's first act as Alice's realtor is to set up an open house at the home. David (Brian Geraghty) attends the open house and instead of taking the normal tour, he hides in the home waiting for Alice to come home. David intended to kill Alice also, but has a change of heart and holds her hostage instead. David has a guest visit him at the home and does not tell her Alice is in the basement. What do these people want with Alice's home? Is this an act of revenge by her ex-husband or does the couple have a more sinister plan in mind?moreless
