Open Water is 2003 cinema-verite style independent thriller sensation, filmed on a miniscule budget but still deliver bone-chilling scares, written and directed by Chris Kentis. Susan and Daniel, a happily married couple plans on spending a wonderful vacation in the Bahamas. A scuba diving tour is their main reason for getting away. Undersea adventures and all manner of aquatic splendors await them and seem wonderful - the perfect vacation. Just one problem. It's their last vacation. They soon realize that the tour boat has left them behind. They make fun of the situation, seeing two boats off in the distance they figure they'll see them and will be picked up. After spending hours in the ocean, the couple soon find themselves spending their trip with jellyfish, sharks and other deadly ocean creatures. Fearing for their lives, they try to make the best of the situation. But hope soon grows dim.
