Operation Condor is a Hong-Kong produced action film that was made in 1991 and released to the American market in July of 1997. Starring and directed by Jackie Chan, this martial arts film is actually a sequel to Chan's earlier hit Armour of God, and is oftentimes referred to by its original title Armour of God 2: Operation Condor. Jackie plays a secret agent named Condor (Asian Hawk in the U.S. release) on a mission to track down a cache of stolen Nazi gold located in a military base hidden under the Sahara Desert. On his quest for the gold Jackie runs into three beautiful women; Ada (Carol Chang), a no-nonsense desert expert enlisted by the United Nations to help Jackie on his mission, Elsa (Eva Cobo de Garcia), the granddaughter of the Nazi commander that hid the gold and whose life has been threatened by a group of treasure-hunters, and Momoko (Shoko Ikeda), who is travelling through the desert on a search for the meaning of life when she first meets Jackie. Jackie and his female companions must reach the gold and prevent it from getting into the hands of terrorists. The film is packed with Jackie Chan's trademarked stunts and fight choreography and ends with a climactic battle in the underground base.moreless
