Movie Summary

Vince Vieluf
Order of Chaos is a 2006 dramatic thriller directed by Vince Vieluf. In this film, John Pulliti (Rhys Coiro) is an almost 30-year-old lawyer who is honest, always plays by the rules and is on the path to success at his law firm. His biggest fault is that he does not stand up for himself. His girlfiend and his overbearing boss are constantly using him and belittling him. Despite his faults, Pulliti lives a pretty normal life despite his mental illness that requires him to take medication daily. John's ability to tell right from wrong begins to blur when his co-worker, Rick Carlson (Milo Ventmiglia) moves in next door. Rick is an out-of-control unethical lawyer. The wild lawyer takes interest in his quiet neighbor and encourages him to become an individual and to start standing up for himself. Unfortunately, Pulliti takes the advice a little too far and his life is quickly spinning out of control.

A slightly strange, bizarre movie. It felt like the camera work and plot were slightly off their medication as well.

The beginning of the movie made somewhat more sense than the rest of it, but it was a bit jerky. Sure, that was the style that was maintained thorough the entire film, and while it was kind of fascinating, it also made the movie confusing - which wasn't good at all.

I watched this movie to see Milo Ventimiglia, I admit, and in that respect I don't regret watching the film at all. Milo as Rick was strong, arrogant, smart(ass), and fantastic to look at.

Rhys Coiro as John, on the other hand, was shaky, and totally off his rocker most of the time. His character was supposed to be messed up, I get that, but in the end it just didn't work out that well.

Not the worst movie I've seen, and there were some good moments in the fast-paced plot, but all in all it was a bit too jerky and insane for my tastes.

I liked the music of the movie, though. Might buy the soundtrack.moreless
