Out Cold is a 2001 comedy film about a reckless group of snowboarding friends that live, work, and play in their ski resort hometown of Bull Mountain. The crazy powder-thrashing group consists of four good friends Rick (Jason London), Luke (Zack Galifianakis), Anthony (Flex Alexander), and Pig Pen (Derek Hamilton). Their wild lifestyle of drinking, boarding, and cruising for girls seems to be going pretty well until the founder of the town and mountain, Papa Muntz, dies and leaves the mountain to his son Ted Muntz (Willie Garson). Ted decides to sell the mountain to a business savvy sleazebag named John Majors (Lee Majors) who plans to turn the resort into a high-class resort for snobs. One of John's first items of business is to get rid of Rick and all his friends. It becomes up to the four friends, with the help of Major's beautiful daughter Inga (Victoria Silvstedt), to stop the transformation of their peaceful, worry-free, and yuppie-free little town.moreless

A few minutes of good snowboarding footage -- all in the first reel, alas -- after which it's strictly downhill, bunny-slope style.

It's the perfect image for a smelly and instantly flushable comedy that telegraphs punch lines in advance like a boorish dinner party guest.
