Out For A Kill is an action packed crime film about an archaeology professor that finds himself in the midst of an unexpected adventure. When professor Robert Burns (Steven Segal) discovers a number of ancient artifacts on an archaeological dig in China, he figures he has discovered a valuable piece of history. But he soon realizes that the artifacts are most valuable to The Tong, the Chinese mafia that is using them to smuggle drugs in and out of the country. With their secret now revealed, the crime outfit goes after Burns, killing his partner Li Bo (Tom Wu) and landing him in jail on trumped up drug charges. But while he is eventually able to convince the Chinese authorities to release him, Burns finds that being in jail was the least of his worries, as he is tailed by a couple of DEA agents and hunted by mob boss Wong Dai (Chooi Kheng-Beh). But the professor and dedicated archaeologist is much more than he appears to be, and he vows vengeance on Wong Dai himself, setting both sides up for the fight of their lives. Michael Oblowitz directs this Segal action vehicle packed with the same reliable action throughout.moreless
