Outlaw Prophet is a 2001 independent science fiction shot on video that is now distributed by Troma Films. Outlaw Prophet was written, produced by David Heavener, who also stars in it as John 141. It is an extremely low budget film that features space aliens, Jesus Christ, reality television and obviously plastic space ships. The plot follows the galaxies number one reality TV star, John 141, who was created to entertain the galaxy's violence addicted viewers. John stars in the show Escape 2020 in which he has to save an entire planet from being destroyed. However John 141 rebels against the evil producer of the show (who are part of a media empire that is in control of the whole universe). He escapes along with help from a curvy robot (played by Rebecca Holden) and an orphan (Davita Sharone) and ends up on Earth, in Paris, Tennessee. From here on out the film gets more and more religious and oddly and overtly Christian in its plot and themes.
