Overland Riders is a stunning and captivating action/western movie that was released in 1946. The movie opens with the protagonist Billy Carson (Buster Crabbe) thwarting an armed robbery attempt of a stagecoach. The robbery was organized by Vic Landreau (Jack O'Shea), who is a wealthy, yet very evil, land owner. Things start to go downhill when, out of frustration, Landreau has an innocent rancher killed because he cannot obtain a parcel that was on the stagecoach. Billy Carson is in a race against time to prove his innocence in this marvelous and brilliantly filmed movie. Will he be able to get the documents to prove his innocence out of Landreau's personal safe in time? This classic will leave viewers on the edge of their seats as they follow the plight of Billy Carson. Other characters in Overland Riders include Jean and Jeff Barkley (Patti McCarti and Slim Whitaker), as well as Sheriff Dawson (Bud Osborne).
