Pact with the Devil (Dorian) is a libidinous 2001 film with a classic Faustian theme at it's core. This moody film is based off of a novel written by Oscar Wilde called "The Picture of Dorian Grey". Allan Goldstein, a sarcastic filmmaker whose notable works include Death Wish V: The Face of Death and 2001: A Space Travesty, adapted and directed Pact with the Devil. Meet Dorian Grey: a beautiful, modern model in his twenties whose face is worth thousands in advertising. His agent (Malcom McDowell) has helped him reach the apex of his life and career - Dorian is consistently doted on by the world's most attractive women, he finds work everywhere he sets foot, and he swims in pools of money. However, Dorian becomes tormented with thoughts of old age and seeks a method to escape it's natural progression. That is when his agent approaches him with a chance at eternal youth, he'll only have to sell his soul to the devil first! A revamped Dorian now hits the scene, with a whole new (dark) perspective on life.moreless
