Paris, a 2003 film directed by Ramin Niami, follows detective Jason Bartok (Chad Allen) through a harrowing story as a detective turned criminal navigating his way through the streets of Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The story begins when Jason accidentally shoots his crooked partner Leon (James Russo) and is pressured into stealing money from the crime scene. The plot thickens as Jason tries his best to return the stolen money to his partner's girlfriend Linda/Shen Li (Bai Ling), who is an illegal immigrant. His quest to deliver the stolen money leads him through rough motels and bars where he finally meets Linda, who is involved in the underground sex trade. As he continues on his journey, the thugs who claim to be rightful owners of the stolen money, begin stalking him and causing problems for the duo throughout California. As their journey running from thugs gets trickier, Jason and Linda find themselves attracted to each other as their lives become intertwined with chaos, adventure and stolen money.moreless
