Paris When It Sizzles is a sweet romantic comedy showcasing the undeniable chemistry between stars William Holden and Audrey Hepburn. Holden stars as Richard Benson, a frequently inebriated screenwriter who has frittered away the time he was supposed to be writing a screenplay called "The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower" for producer Alexander Meyerheimer (the incomparable Noel Coward). When Meyerheimer gives him two days to finish the script that he has not yet started, he hires vibrant young secretary Gabrielle Simpson (Hepburn) to help him. The two prove irresistibly drawn to each other. As Holden spins out possible plot points for his new employee, they are caught up in fanciful scenes featuring themselves as the leads in his fictional narrative. Will they fall in love? Will Holden finish his screenplay on time? You'll need to view this engaging farce to find out. Be sure to watch for uncredited cameos by Tony Curtis, Marlene Dietrich, and Mel Ferrer.
