Park is a documentary that was released in 2005, that features the story of a local park in urban Los Angeles. This park might be small and insignificant to some, but to others it has a huge importance in the neighborhood and their lives. Some people do not think that parks are something worth savoring and saving. The movie's director used to visit this park during his childhood, and wants others to see how magical this place could be. This filmmaker was determined to go behind the scenes and conduct interviews with park employees, those people who spent most of their time at the park and others who went there occasionally. These interviews managed to show how inspiring, sentimental and beautiful this park was to many people and how in major cities parks play a more important role than we may anticipate. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the big city life, having a place to go relax and enjoy the day can be very important, and that is the message this movie attempts to convey.moreless
