In talking to the patients, she finds that many of theie accounts do not match up, leading her to believe that the airline is covering up the real story of the crash. Claire meets Eric, (Patrick Wilson) another victim of the crash, who is surprisingly at peace and happy about the ordeal. Drawn to his peaceful demeanor, Clarie and Eric begin to become romantically involved, and as they grow closer to one another, other patients in the group start to disappear. As Eric urges her to make changes in her life, Claire closes in on the truth about the crash, risking her career and life to get to the bottom of it.
