Paul McCartney: Good Evening New York City is a music video that captures the former Beatle's three-day concert at Citi Field in 2009. Paul stops by New York during his Summer Live tour to commemorate the opening of the N.Y. Mets' new home, playing McCartney and Lennon hits, both old and new. With actor Alec Baldwin narrating, the video opens with Paul arriving in the same type of car that brought him to Shea Stadium in 1965, when he played his first concert in America with the Beatles. His band starts the night opening with "Drive My Car" and "Jet." The fans join Paul in his next set as he plays classic Beatle hits, including "Got to Get You into My Life," "The Long and Winding Road," and "Blackbird." Paul also plays songs from his solo albums released in 1997, 2004 and 2007, which include "Highway," "Dance Tonight," and "Only Mama Knows." Next, Billy Joel shows up as a surprise guest, joining Paul in "Let It Be" and "Hey Jude." Paul ends up playing over 33 different tunes throughout the show for over 120,000 screaming fans.moreless
