Rating:

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure is acclaimed director Tim Burton's first feature-length film. It tells the story of Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Reubens), an eccentric man who has filled his life with toys and other relics of childhood. Of all his playthings, Pee-Wee is most fond of his bike - so when Pee-Wee's bike goes missing during a shopping trip at the mall, he is devastated. Though Pee-Wee searches his hometown for his beloved bicycle, none of his leads around town pan out. Desperate, Pee-Wee sets out for the Alamo Mission in San Antonio, Texas, where a psychic has told him his bike is waiting. As he makes his way to the lone star state, Pee-Wee meets an ex-con, a biker gang, and even a ghost. His comedic adventure turns him into a hero, a film star, and a fugitive, but will his bike be waiting for him in Texas at the end of his travels?
