Percy Adlon's Rosalie Goes Shopping is a comedy about a German bride living in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Rosalie (Marianne Stuttgart) loves shopping even if she has no money. In the movie she tries to understand and master the American way. It seems like someone in Rosalie's life always needs something and she can't help being generous. After all her spending she has virtually no money. Rosalie finds a way to deal with her money problems by using bad credit cards with fake names, fake accounts and addresses and bouncing checks. Rosalie is able to manage being in debt for a while even with the creditors sending her so many notices that the mailman is surprised. Then local shopkeepers no longer accept her credit cards and it is not looking good for Rosalie. Her daughter pushes her to buy a computer. Rosalie then becomes a master hacker and is able to get back on her feet, but for how long?moreless
