Personal Vendetta is a 1996 thriller directed by Stephen Lieb and featuring former professional wrestler-turned actress Mimi Lesseos. Lesseos, who was a popular wrestler in the LPWA, costars in Personal Vendetta alongside Timothy Bottoms, Mark Wilson and Bill Douglas. The main character in the film, Bonnie Blackwell (Mimi Lesseos), is married to a sadistic businessman (Timothy Bottoms) who becomes furious with her after a dinner party and nearly beats her to death. Bonnie ends up in the hospital, and her husband ends up in jail. While recovering, a police officer (Bill Douglas) befriends Bonnie because he feels sorry for her and encourages her to conquer her fears and become a cop herself. While training at the police academy, Bonnie moves in with her friend Jackie (Lisa Marie Hayes). Slowly, Bonnie rises from being a timid new recruit to become the top cadet in her class, and she is assigned experienced officer John (Mark Wilson) to be her partner. When Bonnie's husband is released from prison and comes looking for her, she must use all of her newly learned police skills to protect her life.moreless
