Peter Pan is a movie based on a classic play and novel written by J.M. Barrie. Directed by P.J. Hogan, Peter Pan (Jeremy Sumpter), tells a tale of a young adventurous and mischievous boy who also can fly. Peter refuses to grow up and spends his never-ending childhood on a small island called Neverland. One day while visiting London he meets a girl named Wendy Darling (Rachel Hurd-Wood). He soon becomes very fascinated with the stories that Wendy tells her brothers. Peter soon decides to take Wendy and her brothers to visit Neverland. Upon returning to Neverland they meet Peter's feisty little sidekick Tinker Bell (Ludivine Sagnier), and his gang, the Lost Boys. In Neverland they live an adventurous life filled with lots of fun and free from grown-up rules. Shortly after they encounter the villainous pirate Captain James Hook (Jason Isaacs). Hook and his pirates then seek to kidnap Wendy and her brothers. After kidnapping them, Peter fights Hook and his pirates to try to free them.moreless
