Petula Clark: This Is My Song is the biography film which documents the life and musical career of singer-songwriter Petula Clark. Petula is an English singer, actress and composer who has been in the biz for seven decades. Born in Epsom, Surrey, England, she was raised by two nurse parents, singing in chapel choir, and being introduced to theatre when she was a young girl. She soon decided that she wanted to be an actress, and she made her radio debut in 1942, leading to many more radio appearances to entertain the troops. Her television career began in 1946, appearing on the Cabaret Cartoons variety show, which led to her getting her own afternoon series. This film documents her rise to fame, with concert footage, rare archival clips of her life, interviews with the people around her, and more.
