Pharaoh's Curse, which came out in 1957, is about a British crew of archaeologists who set out in Egypt into a Pharaoh's tomb for research. The crew who includes, Captain Storm (Mark Dana), Sergeant Gromley (Richard Peel), Sergeant Smolett (Terence de Marney), and Sylvia Quentin (Diane Brewster) begin to do their excavation and come across some issues early on. They are initially warned by a local, Simira (Ziva Rodann), that it will only cause death and despair. Not believing Simira, they enter anyway and soon come to realize that she might have been right when a three-thousand-year old curse unleashes and they find one of their own crew members has become a vampire resembling mummy. As more and more of the archaeologist crew dies at the hands of the now blood thirsty mummy, the remaining crew is left trying to stay alive and figure out how to stop the curse from continuing. This is a movie that will leave you wondering if anyone will make it out of this tomb alive and if the curse will ever be stopped.moreless
