Pieces of Dreams is a 1970 film centered around a man who questions his faith and devotion to the Catholic church after developing a profound relationship with a impious social worker. The film is based on a novel by William E. Barrett called "The Wine and the Music". Roger O. Hirson adapted the book to screen; Daniel Haller (The Fall Guy, Buck Rogers, The Dunwhich Horror) directs. Gregory Lind (Robert Forster) is an austere Catholic priest who lives a sinless life. However, he does not agree with the Church's stance on birth control policy. His doubts with the Church are further exacerbated when he meets a nonreligious social worker named Pamela Gibson (Lauren Hutton) who shows him the innocence in human needs. Friends and family soon catch on to his misguidedness and desperately hope he reassumes his moral exactitude. But Gregory has tasted just enough to be torn between both worlds. Will he chose his personal views on life, or succumb to God's teachings?moreless
