She decides to become a stenographer in Washington D.C. and goes with her friend Kay Pritchett (Dorothea Kent). Before starting their new job, Lorry and Kay have a wild night in New York City. Once there, they are welcomed by Tommy Dooley (John Harvey), a naval hero. When the girls try to get into a club, a case of mistaken identity occurs.
