Pin is psychological thriller that is based on the unique novel by Andrew Neiderman and follows the life of Doctor Linden (Terry O'Quinn of "Lost" fame) who uses a life-size medical dummy named Pin (short for Pinocchio) to communicate to his two children, Leon (David Hewlett) and Ursula (Cyndy Preston). The dummy has clear skin that allows the children to see all of its muscles and organs. At first Pin is used as a means for the doctor to open up to his family and teach his children about different bodily functions. When Doctor Linden and his wife die in a car accident, Leon transfers his alter ego into the dummy. Leon becomes obsessed with Pin and this alter ego that he has created. Meanwhile, Doctor Linden's daughter, Ursula, has grown up into a beautiful woman and begins to date Stan. Leon, who is overcome with jealousy, begins to use Pin to commit murder and "protect" his sister.
