Pink Floyd: Shine On is a music documentary that consists of a number of extensive interviews and rare footage of the legendary rock band through the years. Pink Floyd is revered as one of the most successful bands in history, with an estimated 73.5 million albums sold in the United States and over 200 million albums sold worldwide. As the band progressed throughout the years, there is some new information that comes to light on the DVD, including a special 1993 interview with Roger Waters on the 20th anniversary of the album, "The Dark Side of the Moon." In it, he discusses the success of the album and the process that led him to joining up with Pink Floyd once again after originally co-founding the group. Fans of the group will also learn the influences in each members' lives that eventually led to their original progressive and psychedilic rock sound that set them apart from other rock bands in their genre.moreless
