Planet Outlaws is a 1953 fantasy science fiction film directed by Ford Beebe, written by Normal Hall and narrated by Helen Leighton, and is based on a cartoon strip produced by Harry Jaques Revier. Buck Rogers (Larry 'Buster' Crabbe) is a colonel in the US Army who finds himself lost in time under strange and unexplained circumstances. Upon waking up, he discovers that the Earth is not what he remembers it to be, because it's the year 2500 and everything around him is changed for the worse. A criminal gang leader, Killer Kane (Anthony Ward), and his merciless followers are terrorizing the people in an attempt to establish a rule of evil and destruction. Although Colonel Rogers is not exactly up to date with what is going on in the universe, he does not hesitate to challenge the outlaws and restore order and justice. Rogers must employ his excellent military training and discipline to defeat the troublemakers.
