Point Blank is an action movie about a renegade police officer who tries to take down a gang of escaped prisoners that hole up in a shopping mall. A routine transfer has just turned into escape for a ruthless bunch of criminals led by mastermind Howard (Paul Ben-Victor) and bruiser Wallace (Danny Trejo), and now these madmen have taken over a local shopping center, killing everyone in their path. Realizing his brother Joe (Kevin Gage) is in the middle of the gang, Rudy Ray, (Mickey Rourke) a unflappable and fearless cop, takes it upon himself to bring down the maniacal mob and try and save his brother. But with guns blazing and taking on the entire crew, he may have to make the decision to take Joe out himself when the time comes. Matt Earl Beesley directs this gritty action movie that is full of gratuitous violence, outrageous fight sequences, and a very bulked up Rourke.moreless
