Prairie Rustlers is a 1945 western film about a gang of outlaws on the run from the law after having just killed the local sheriff and all his deputies. The film follows the story of Jim and Billy Carson (Buster Crabbe), two identical twin brothers. Jim is the hed of a gang of rustlers responsible for the deaths of the lawmen. After narrowly escaping a hanging for his crimes, Jim abuses his look-a-like brother into taking the fall for his own crimes. Now, Billy must fight for what is right and convince his innocence and identity to those now after his neck. Deputy Fuzzy Jones (Al St. John) is hot in tow as he seeks vengeance for his fallen friends. The film is a stereotypical western film directed by Sam Newfield. The film also stars Evelyn Finley, Karl Hackett, I. Stanford Jolley, Bud Osborne, Kermit Maunard, Jimmy Aubrey, George Bamby, John L.
