Preacherman is half action, half comedy, and one wild ride through a small town in North Carolina. Amos T. Huxley (Albert T. Viola) is a professional swindler masquerading as a preacher in a small country town that is completely oblivious to his true intention. It isn't until Huxley goes after the beautiful yet dim-witted farmer's daughter Mary Lou (Illene Kristen) that things start going south for him very quickly. Turns out Mary Lou has a boyfriend who is all but happy that Huxley has decided to go after his girl. Mary Lou's boyfriend informs the police that Huxley may be up to no good in their town, and they begin investigating. A smooth combination of hilarity and action ensues as Huxley tries to make his escape and take Mary Lou as his own. Directed by Amos T. Huxley, the main star of the movie, Preacherman is an insanely fun ride through the world of common backwoods stereotypes.
