Public Fears in Public Places is a winding story of love and romance, based off of the popular play written by Alan Ayckbourn. The movie follows 6 troubled people in Paris. Nicole (Laura Morante), engaged to Dan (Lambert Wilson), looks for a new apartment while Dan sits unemployed and consistently drinking, a problem he's had since he left the military. Nicole's estate agent, Thierry (Andre Dussollier) has a younger sister (Isabelle Carre), who has a habit of unsuccessfully waiting alone in caf''s for blind dates to arrive. Also, there is the estate agent's colleague, Charlotte (Sabine Azema), and the bartender, Lionel (Pierre Arditi) who all seem to get involved in the mix as well. Even though these people were once crushed under their feelings in the past, all of them seem desperate for love. Private Fears in Public places is an outstanding, award-winning film with many plot twists, and will keep you guessing about which person will fall for the other.moreless
