Private Parts is a 1972 horror film directed by cult filmmaker Paul Bartel. The film follows Cheryl Stratton (played by Ayn Ruymen) who, after having had an argument with her roommate, moves into her aunt's skid row hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The people living there are all odd and Cheryl's aunt Martha (played by Lucille Benson) is obsessed with morals and funerals. All the while a murderer is on the loose and the overly trusting and inexperienced Cheryl may be the next victim! Cheryl finds herself drawn to a handsome photographer named George (played by John Ventantonio). George is weird though, as he sleeps with a water inflated doll and spies on Cheryl as she bathes. Meanwhile a neighborhood clerk named Jeff (played by Stanley Livingston) might be Cheryl's only ally in the strange and perilous apartment complex...

A good example of the old time Midnight Movies--Full of atmosphere and RocknRoll energy--- Very dark comedy--- Here are what the "themes" are according to

    "B-Movie Horror, Cult, Zombies,Vampires & Monsters, Gorefest :

There are no Zombies, vampires or monsters, and really no Gore either , so I don't know where that came out of---
