Pterodactyl Woman from Beverly Hills

Movie Summary

Director:
Philippe Mora
Released:
1994
Rating:
R
Pterodactyl Woman from Beverly Hills is a 1997 comedy directed by Philippe Mora. It stars Beverly D'Angelo as Pixie Chandler, an overly Botoxed, extremely exercised rich Beverly Hills lady who endlessly shops and lunches. However she starts turning into a pterodactyl after her archaeologist husband accidentally desecrates a burial site, thereby releasing a curse from a voodoo master who calls himself Salvador Dali (because he really likes his work). The pterodactyl curse makes her fully change at night but the dinosaur mannerisms afflict Pixie all day. For instance she starts swallowing live carp in the supermarket one day. Now it is up to her husband, children, friends and neighbors to come to terms with Pixie's strange new look as Pixie tries to find the shaman who initially inflicted the curse so as to get it reversed. The film was produced by the infamous Troma Entertainment. A highlight is the scene in which the pterodactyl gets chased by a stealth fighter jet.moreless
