Puppet Master is the 1989 premiere film in the popular little killers saga from the prolific Full Moon Pictures factory, created by Charles Band and directed by David Schmoeller (Tourist Trap, Netherworld, The Secret Kingdom). Blade, Pinhead, Leech Woman, Jester and Tunneler are a group of puppets that have been bought to life by puppet master Andre Toulon (William Hickey, Sea of Love, Tales from the Darkside: The Movie) who shoots himself at the film's opening, so the Nazi agents pursuing him can't get him and take his secrets. Some years later, a group of psychics are sent to the Inn to investigate the secrets of the hotel since one of their colleges has killed himself in the inn. As they search the inn, the puppets kill them off one by one until lead psychic Alex Whitaker (Paul Le Mat, American Graffiti, Melvin and Howard) and the owner confront the man who killed himself. Apparently, he's mastered the secrets of Toulon and now is immortal.
