Que Familia Mas Normal is a crazy, fun comedy from 2006 in which cultures collide. Armando (Frenando Allende) is an oily DJ with a double life, and he recklessly endangers his marriage with his lovely wife in order to pursue an illicit relationship with his sultry secretary. His watching wife has a sense for what is going on and jealously chases him down, joined by her equally angry mother-in-law. At the same time, his own mother is defensive of him, and there seems to be no promise of future peace. As if the immediate family weren't stirred up enough, Armando's young son announces that he will soon be married. Armando is Puerto Rican, and his son is marrying the daughter of an Argentine mother and a Cuban father. Racial tensions swirl as family drama explodes in this fly by the seat of your pants comedy about love, relationships, cheating, and marital bliss.moreless
