Quest for Camelot is a 1998 animated musical film that tells the story of Kayley (Jessalyn Gilsig) in her quest to become a knight and part of the Knights of the Round Table. When Ruber, an ex-knight who had gone made with power, attempts to steal the famed sword Excalibur, Merlin casts a spell to fight off the evildoer, but the sword is dropped in the forest. Kayley then searches the forest to find it, along the way becoming friends with a blind hermit named Garrett (Cary Elwes) and his pet silver-winged falcon (Frank Welker). After joining forces with the two-headed dragon Devon and Cornwall (Eric Idle and Don Rickles), the team finds Excalibur in a cave, where a rock ogre has taken it. They retrieve the sword, but Ruber is able to steal it from them before Kayley can defend herself. In one last bit of trickery, Kayley is able to convince Ruber to put the sword back into the stone from whence it came. Kayley is celebrated for her efforts and is eventually knighted. Also starring the voices of Jane Seymour, Pierce Brosnan, Jaleel White, Gabriel Byrne, and Gary Oldman, Quest for Camelot did not perform well at the box office and was poorly reviewed by critics.
