Quincannon: Frontier Scout is a 1956 action adventure and romantic western film directed by Lesley Selander. The film follows the frontier scout Linus Quincannon (played by the famous singer Tony Martin in a rare non singing role). Linus gets sent to a remote post to investigate the disappearance of a rifle shipment that may have been stolen by the local Indians. Helping him in his investigation is the beautiful Maylene (played by Peggie Castle). Maylene wants Linus to find out if her missing brother had been killed in a recent Indian attack on a remote fort. This film was shot in picturesque and ravishing natural locations in Utah. This film was shot in color. While Tony was a good singer he makes for a bad actor and an even worse cowboy.
