Ragin' Cajun is an action adventure film produced by cult factory Troma Studios. The story revolves around the tribulations of hero Cage "Ragin' Cajun" Demanna (David Heavener), a flashback suffering Vietnam veteran, washed-up kickboxer, and indebted mafia associate with aspirations of musical stardom. The movie opens with Demanna's release from a psychiatric care wing at a veterans' hospital. Newly confident that he is more ably equipped to deal with his crippling war recollections, he soon has a chance encounter with former lover and fellow musician, Ali (Charlene Tilton), who helps him land a job washing dishes in the kitchen of a nightclub where she performs. As Cage starts settling into his new life, his flashbacks abruptly return along with his one-time promoter, Mr. Regetti (Alan Rich), a mob connected wiseguy seeking revenge for losses on a bout that Cage threw. When Regetti learns of Cage's rekindled love, he knows the best way to force Cage back into the ring is to abduct Ali and hold her for ransom. With no choice and everything at stake, Cage must battle the aptly named Dr. Death (Jesse Borja) in a match in which only the winner will leave alive.moreless
