Movie Summary

John Irvin

Raw Deal is the 1986 action favorite from director John Irvin (Ghost Story, Hamburger Hill, Next of Kin). Set in Chicago, the film starts as a team of men hired by mob boss Lou Patrovita (Sam Wanamaker) storm an FBI witness protection hideout and kill an informant named Marcellino (Mordecai Lawner) and all the FBI agents there to protect him including rookie agent Blair Shannon (Steve Holt). High ranking FBI agent Harry Shannon (Darren McGavin, A Christmas Story, The Night Stalker) wants revenge for the death of his son and turns to disgraced ex-FBI agent Mark Kaminsky (Arnold Schwarzenegger, Predator, The Terminator) who is working as a small town Sheriff. Harry asks Mark to get inside Patrovita's organization and bring it down, paying close attention to the person who set the hit on his son up. Mark agrees and sets about infiltrating the gang and bringing it down by killing as many people as he can...
