Re-Cycle is a 2006 Asian fantasy horror film from co-directors Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang. Talented writer Tsui Ting-Yin (Angelica Lee) has just written three best-selling romantic fiction novels based on her own experiences with love. For her next book, she decides to write for the horror genre and entitles her book "Re-Cycle." Unfortunately, Ting-Yin experiences writer's block and lacks inspiration for her story, but as she begins drafting the text, her ex-lover from eight years ago visits her apartment and unexplained events start to take place. When Ting-Yin sees a vision of a character she abandoned while writing, she follows the phantasmagorical creation and is transported into a terrifying supernatural world. There, she finds herself surrounded by unwanted toys, unfulfilled dreams, abandoned buildings, lost items, forgotten memories and half-remembered people. Ting-Yin realizes she is trapped in this haunted realm and must confront a secret from her past to return home.
