Real Life Teens: Racism on Campus gives teenagers an opportunity to share their opinions and experiences regarding issues that affect their lives. Real students discuss racial tensions that exist in their schools and the problems it can lead to. They offer their own suggestions for diffusing racial tension and promoting diversity on campus. The 20-minute educational film discusses racial cliques, diffusing racial tensions, the advantages of avoiding racism and opening up to other languages, cultures, and history. The teens in the film can spark thought and discussion among teen classes and groups. The film is part of the Real Life Teens Series that gives teens the opportunity to speak frankly and honestly about a number of issues including the dangers of social media, sexuality and sexual health, teen pregnancy, bullying and cyber-bullying, drug and alcohol abuse, self esteem, and suicide and depression.
