Real Life Teens: Staying Focused is a short informational film addressing the challenges many of today's teens have staying focused in the classroom told from the perspective of actual teenagers. The film begins by sharing the unbiased and true stories of high-schoolers as they struggle with outside influences, personal problems and sometimes difficult classroom environments. Real Life Teens: Staying Focused then shares strategies that a teen can use to stay focused in the classroom and the positive effects of doing so. The film covers information on setting goals, creating good study habits, scheduling your day, and avoiding distractions. The film also shares that the issues these teenagers are facing in their everyday lives are shared by others as well. Separated into primers, the film will promote discussion and provoke thought about topics many teens may be unable to give voice to on their own while also helping them to stay more focused in the classroom.
