Red Ridge is the 2006 drama film from director Damian Skinner based loosely on true events and stories about sexual slavery and prostitution taking place in the small towns around the Texas and Mexico border. The film follows Brandon Matthew, a drunk trying to get sober, as he visits his estranged wife Alicia who lives in a cabin along the Texas Mexico border. Brandon takes a shortcut through the small town of Red Ridge. Unbeknownst to him Alicia's young sister Dawn is also on the way to the cabin with her boyfriend. They pick up two hitch hiker's, Lalo and Ness who then capture Dawn and her boyfriend. Lalo and Ness hold them captive, forcing them into sex slavery and torture. As Brandon drives by he recognizes Dawn's car and stops to investigate. By doing so he finds himself brought into an underground world of murder and mayhem that may just claim his life. He will have to save and escape or prepare for the worst.
