In the wake of tragedy, fourteen-year-old Maddie Clifford's family is falling apart. Her mother and father have separated, leaving Maddie (Allison Scagliotti) alone to wrestle with haunting memories from her childhood. She decides to take action by seducing several local neighborhood boys, including her diabetic classmate, Tyler. What seems like a cry for help soon transforms into an elaborate plan involving sex, insulin syringes and an ill-fated rabbit as Maddie makes a desperate bid for salvation. Redemption Maddie is a darkly eccentric, yet lyrical drama featuring a revelatory performance by Allison Scagliotti (Warehouse 13, Drake and Josh), directed by Aaron King. It premiered at the 22nd Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival and went on to play over twenty international film festivals. It received 8 awards including Grand Jury Prize at AFI Dallas, Best Short & Best Actress at BendFilm Festival, and Best Screenplay at Hollyshorts Film Festival.
