Redemption is the story of tough Los Angeles cop John Sato's (Don "the Dragon" Wilson) pursuit of redemption after being kicked off the police force's elite SWAT team. Captain Grill (James Russo) fires Sato because the force determined he was responsible for the accidental death of one of his colleagues, Erin Murphy (Cynthia Rothrock). With nowhere else to turn to make money, Sato looks to his girlfriend, Tara (Carrie Stevens). She is a high-class call girl who introduces Sato to local mobster Tony Leggio (Chris Penn). Sato's relationship with Leggio tests his loyalties as the mob boss is planning a million dollar heist. Will Sato go up against his former friends on the SWAT team or betray his girlfriend and boss for a big payday? Featuring exciting chase scenes and the violent fights Don "the Dragon" Wilson is known for, Redemption brings a new level of martial arts action to a moody police drama.
