Reefer Madness (Rifftrax Version) is a laugh-a-minute riff on the 1930's cult hit Reefer Madness (which debuted under the name "Tell Your Children"). Bill, Mike and Kevin of Mystery Science Theater 3000 fame bring you laugh-out-loud commentary on the black and white propaganda film famous for exacerbating the pot phobia of mid-30's United States. The film revolves around Bill Harper (Kenneth Craig) and Jimmy Lane (Warren McCullom), two young teenagers who fall in with a bad crowd of nearly insane marijuana dealers and addicts at a party one night. Their consequent consumption of reefer sticks leads them to commit manslaughter, murder, adultery, and attempted rape among other crimes. Throughout the film, the narrator poses as a speaker at a PTA lecture. He reinforces the theme of the film by directly addressing the camera and telling viewers that while the film's plot is fictional, the events portrayed are likely to happen to their children next.
