Retribution Road, aka Blue Eyes, is a 2007 drama set in the Old West. The most notorious outlaw in the land, Johnny Rios (John Castellanos), attempts a bank robbery in the quiet little Texas town of Wardlaw. Sheriff Bob Gimbol (Michael Gregory) quickly captures the criminal, but the sadistic Rios, nicknamed Blue Eyes, has another weapon in his arsenal. He threatens the entire town with annihilation by his gang of death-dealing brothers unless he is set free within 24 hours. With the clock ticking, the brave Sheriff needs to gather deputies to face down the outlaws in the ultimate shoot-out. Unfortunately, the townsfolk, including Mayor Clyde (Peter Sherayko), would rather turn a blind eye and leave Sheriff Gimbol to save the town on his lonesome. Director Chuck Walker ("The Texas Triangle") follows in the tradition of Old West suspense classics like "High Noon" and "Rio Bravo" with a tense drama between good and evil, duty and survival.
