Revelation is a mystery and action film released in 2001. The Loculus, a lost artifact from the time of Jesus Christ, has been fought over throughout history. The artifact dates from 50 AD and is believed to have some great purpose for humankind; it shows the symbols of both an Egyptian ankh (the looped cross) and a caduceus (the serpent-entwined rod). Over history, it has been studied by many philosophers and scientists including Sir Isaac Newton, a member of the Masonic Knights Templar and believer that secret would be revealed in a few centuries' time. In the present day the Loculus is again discovered, and the Martel family must deal with the artifact and its effect on the world. Directed by Stuart Urban, this film follows the Loculus through time, seeing how it has affected the world's religion, science, and balance of power, to the final moment of discovering its true importance.
